In order to ensure their high levels of commitment to their customers is maintained, they now seek to recruit a highly adept Director of Engineering for their new state-of-the-art facility in Qatar. 

As the Director of Engineering – Qatar, you will oversee the entire development process of lithium-Ion batteries and associated power products being responsible for all aspects of the engineering functions from concept to qualification.    

You will be responsible for the hiring, training, and coaching of a highly focused engineering team consisting of electrical, mechanical, software, system, validation, and regulatory engineers.   

To be successful in your application for this role you will be educated to degree level in electrical engineering, a strong understanding of digital and analog circuitry  

You must also be able to demonstrate a great understanding of battery BMS, lithium cell characteristics, mechanical packaging, and regulatory requirements for lithium batteries 

With proven experience in a leadership position, you will be a hands-on mentor with the ability to lead complex projects, form the team, create the plan, monitor and track KPI progress, manage risk, and make necessary course corrections to deliver desired results.
